This isn’t my first time dining in Absolute Thai. We have all lose count of the number of times that we visited the same restaurant every now and then. I have also sign up as a member of their restaurant chain for a l fee of RM 15.00 and I will be entitled to 10% discount FOREVER. Yes, that’s exactly what was written on my membership card. But just so you know, the card is a yearly membership and the discount are not applicable with other promotions, set menus and alcoholic beverages.This time around I had the Tom Yam Mee Hoon Seafood with red based soup. But I’ve requested the noodles to be change to glass noodles instead and the staff was more than happy to change it for me. Kudos for the staff. The soup was so spicy that it left a burning sensation on my tongue. Yet I enjoyed it. But personally I think it would be better off if there is an extra taste of sourness in it. The amount of seafood was all right considering the price tag of approximately RM 17 per bowl. Two shrimps with squids and fish and some mushrooms as well.We arrived around 12.30 and all tables were already occupied. But lucky enough we manage to secure tables at the outdoor area hence the waiting time was merely few minutes. Overall, the dining experience was relatively good.
