Blue Cow Cafe is a unique to me as well as their food. Let me do a simple introduction about this unique cafe. Blue Cow Café & Deli, previously known as Fogal Meat Market, officially opened for business in August 2006. The shop front in Plaza Damas is a unique concept offering discerning customers the opportunity to buy the freshest quality Australian beef and lamb, our own fresh sausages and burgers, complimented by the very best fresh local pork, ham and arguably, the most sensational bacon in the whole of Malaysia. The cozy environment with a simple yet nice decoration, the restaurant able capture the customer attention as the concepts not only offer dine in but customer can choose to buy the fresh product back.Start our meal with 3 different types of soup. It hard for me to choose which one I like as 3 of the soup is delicious. The soup is made from fresh ingredient and the texture is creamy. The best part about this soup is no MSG, no preservative & no artificial, made from scratch right here at the cafe. Mini bowl (RM7) and bowl (RM12) .Rich Pumpkin Soup Creamy Mushroom Soup Hearty Pea & Ham SoupPork Rendang with Rice RM22 This look unique to me as they serve rendang in pork. Their local favorite serve with pickles, fried egg and rice. The portion is just nice for one person.Large Platter RM115If you are meat lover, you will definitely love this. The large platter contain 2 sausages, 2 kebabs, 1 rump steak, 1 pork steak, 1 lamb chop, 1 burger patty, bacon and 3 side dishes. This portion is ideal for 3 to 5 person. Nom...Nom...Shepherd Pie RM20Rich and fresh beef stew topped with fluffy mashed potatoes, finished with cheese. This is really a mouth watering pie.Chili Con Carne RM27 The specialty about this dishes is spicy minced bean that mixed with bean chili. It taste nice when dip the corn chips into it. Introduce the new menu that will be release by Blue Cafe. Chorizo Sausages. This is a very recommended place for meat lovers as Blue Cow's offerings were really delicious. This chorizo sausages came with potato wedges and potato salad. The sausages had its own distinct flavour as well as texture. The slightly thicker version was moist and strong seasonings. The thin one was very aromatic too. The potato salad was sweet. continue reading

With a business theme along the likes of Meat Express and Meat Works (where there's a butcher section for takeaways as well as a proper dining section with tables and chairs); Blue Cow Cafe has been thriving at Plaza Damas for many, many years now. And still going strong.. No wonder for it's certainly the best around. The meat they use are all high-quality imports; irregardless chops, steaks or sausages. And the place looks real cute too with it's blue and white tablecloth and deco theme Do have their big breakfast which comes with generous amount of tomatoes, eggs, ham, bacon and chicken sausage. Or you can come at night and divulge on their delicious steaks, chops and fillets. Guaranteed yummy continue reading

continue reading

Formerly Fogal's Meat Market, this place is still thriving. The best thing about it: you can come in for breakfast at 11am and still be able to order cocktails and wine. Eggs Benedict. Looked promising, but turned out to be a letdown; the egg was overcooked, so it wasn't runny at all. Pea & ham soup. Could be thicker, but flavorful enough to make us wish this broth was more widely available. Their omelet was outstanding; gloriously fluffy and packed with bacon, ham, mushrooms, onions, cheese & tomatoes. The sausage platter, with various pork varieties, filled our need for meaty succulence. Tequila Sunrise (tequila, orange juice) & Hardy's Shiraz Cabernet (Australia). Long Black Russian (vodka, kahlua, coke) and coffee. continue reading
