Tempeh. Of course, for Indonesia cuisine, how could it be without having its tempeh. Actually, I am not a fan of tempeh but I am still willing to try them. The tempeh I had in Indonesia was good but I do not understand why Malaysia tempeh tasted weird. It was the same as Bumbu Desa where the tempeh exerted a strong fermented smell. It was quite a thick piece, and I don't quite like it.

bumbu desa also have few outlet but in kl festival city mall recently is closed down i never have the chance to drop by there to try the food. usually i walk by there is not much of people. but in suria klcc, here is nice environment and more customers. the tempe goreng is recommended to us . the tempe is actually deep fried fermented soy bean and was mince and fried it . quite tasty for the first time i try it and very crispy

Bumbu Desa is one of the of the prominent restaurant at the Suria KLCC with over 30 outlets across Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. They serve mainly Indonesian cuisine such as Gado-gado (steamed mixed vegetables with eggs, served with traditional peanut sauce), empal goreng (fried tenderized beef strips an Indonesian version of beef jerky), variety of rendang and chicken, beef and prawn based dishes. The price is reasonable and the restaurant decoration is unique with tradisional Indonesian decoratioan. However, despite the food presentation, I found that the dishes is just OK. Nothing special feeling dine here that make you want to talk about it all over the day.
