This outlet is new and relocated from The Curve to Mid Valley. The special about this ice cream is using liquid nitrogen and also contains no food colouring, stabilizers or preservatives. Their set up is like a science lab. I try the cookies and cream gelato and the taste is good, not too sweet. Right texture and right sweetness for me. I order the medium size which cost RM 9.90. continue reading

Cloudy with a chance of sweet success: Forecasting food trends might be a thankless science, but these swirling cryogenic mists wrought by liquid nitrogen technology to create super-smooth ice cream look certain to return the e@Curve mall to food-lovers' radars. In a prelude to a complete cafe that'll launch at e@Curve within weeks, newbie business N Brew has opened a concourse booth where fresh ice cream mixes are flash frozen with liquid nitrogen, a process that takes mere minutes to produce soft, sumptuous desserts.Friendly staff members in lab coats churn out fun flavors that include, subject to availability, watermelon, chocolate & nuts, popcorn, Oolong tea & more.Nitro-ice cream has captivated customers everywhere from America to Australia; N Brew show-runner Peter Tan was inspired by a tasting in Sydney to bring this to his home country Malaysia, with plans to embark on more branches eventually in multiple malls. Two can share a nine-ringgit cup; the texture is terrific, thanks to a lovely lushness. The ice cream is made without stabilizers & must be eaten immediately. Liquid N2 tanks. Too gimmicky? Not when the results taste so satisfyingly distinctive. continue reading
