It was my first time to Jeram while on the way to Kuala Selangor and Sekinchan for a 1-day trip of food trail Thanks to my friend who did the study and finally lead us here, 5 cars in total As we arrived pretty early in the morning, the famous fried yam and curry bun were still not ready, thus we had to be satisfied with whatever breakfast that are available. It’s an airy and ordinary coffee shop that you would see in town. But it seemed like a rush amongst the customers at the corner placing the morning snacks. Apparently the stocks also ran out pretty fast. So we just grabbed whatever nearest to us and seated to enjoy the food before resume our gastronomical journey. No fried yam, it’s alright, at least I got to enjoy yam cake It was quite a big chunk and solid too. You may occasionally munch on the chunky bites of yam and goes well with the in house sauce, reddish but not spicy This version had not any minced condiments, scallions or garlic oil on it. Ccould it be brushed off by earlier customers since not many pieces were left when we were taking it? I don’t know, hehe. As for this fried prawn fritters, it’s quite good and moderately crispy. Yea, it might bit heavy to start of the day, so I took only one piece and best paired with another sauce, which looks like the gravy for pasembur, hehe. My friend had the curry puff, and feedback that he gave was meagre. Whether is he more fussy about food or it’s just ordinary, am not too sure as that time, am too full to let another puff into my stomach continue reading
