hometown steamboat restaurant is very famous place to have steamboat here. already been here for so long outlet in setapak is the most crowded place to be. they have many set menu to choose from. usually i will order the standard steamboat with three person portion with prawns, dumplings, fishball and the vegetables added with the spicy tom yam soup the tom yam soup i like the most .very spicy and they boil it with the spices inside makes you feel so good. the seafood inside makes the soup more tasty

This place is usually pack during dinner and especially weekends. There are option for double soup and we have chosen chicken and another tom yam. The tom yam flavor is a little salty but very nice aroma. The set portion is enough for small eater. Fresh vegetables, prawns are okay, wish there are more special fish balls and add ons. Need to go early if you want a good seat otherwise outside may be hot in a warm weather.

好家乡火锅世家每次都看它爆满的，也不懂是不是Genting Klang缺乏火锅店。我觉的这里的火锅还可以，可是就是普普通通的没什么特别。材料还蛮新鲜的。可是却太多加工后的食材了，真实的虾鱼肉等却不多。

Steamboat is something i always wanted to eat when i am with my whole bunch of friends or family. This Hometown steamboat is locate din Genting Klang , Setapak. So, we decided to have a try since there's alot people eating there. Should be good i guess.Its a order by plates and ala carte and not buffet steamboat. So, the ingredients is like what normal steamboat restaurants serve, fishballs, veges,porkball, crabmeat, tofu , prawns and etc. We ordered the set for 3 person and order side orders ourselves.Overall in a group of 6, it cost us around RM20 each.
