Fyi you wont get this broth anywhere in KL as they are using prawns base broth. Which made the whole noodle experience very different from the typical clear broth. There will be some prawn shell sediments as i assume they grind the shells to make it a rich flavour broth.Would recommend for those that like a different taste of this noodle. they also sell chicken rice which is a popular among the locals. Will be reviewing the chicken rice in future on my next visit. continue reading

My Boyfriend recommends this placefor their delicious Prawn Mee and Chicken Rice therefore I planned to have themfor breakfast before our journey to Genting Highlands. I took a LRT from ChanSow Lin to Pudu that costs me RM 1.40 (Two Way) and the restaurant is located 5minutes walking distance from Pudu LRT station. San Peng is a small stall thatis located along Roadside with some tables and chairs for the customer todine-in. They only serve Prawn Noodles, Chicken Rice and Beverages. Theenvironment was good to have breakfast in the morning but it will be hot duringafternoon. I ordered 2 Prawn Noodles and Barli.Barley was a just a normal drink to cools down the body. Prawn Noodle was okay for me. The noodle was smooth and the chicken slices are soft & tender but the soup tasted a bit salty and dilute. Prawn Noodle @ RM 646, Jalan Loke Yew, 55200 Kuala Lumpur Tel: 012- 290 7050 continue reading

Tofu have never tasted so good and I'm serious about how delish this dish is. The egg which covered the tofu was smooth and it was like a comfort food. It's yummy to eat with rice and I think the way they steamed this was just right on time. The serving size was huge and for the price I had to pay for this, it was definitely worth every cent! continue reading

This is a roadside stall near Kenanga Wholesale City Mall, next to a very colorful HinduTemple. As the weather is hot, I ordered dry prawn noodle. The dry prawn noodle come with a small bowl of prawn noodle soup and has the same toppings as the soupy version. The portion is quite huge for RM 5.5 a bowl. The chicken slices is tender and there's a couple of medium sized prawns. I love the generous fried shallots toppings that gave the noodle extra crunch. There is no boiled egg, but I'm okay with that. The green chili sauce and red chili sambal adds spiciness and sourish kick, I didn't take too many of it. Just a dip here and there for taste. Apart from prawn noodle, they also have lam mien, which is a yellow noodle in dark brown thick gravy with chicken and prawn slices. continue reading
