This is going to be my last time to visit here... The service was really disappointing. The fish paste noodle served came with lots of fish bones and almost stuck in my throats. Basically, They don't actually spend their time to choose or remove the fish bones. (Elderly and children , please take notes) Something more ridiculous was there is no warm or plain water served as they are looking to get more profit by selling more expensive drinks to their customer.... continue reading

Just came back from Taman Danau Desa branch a while ago.. Extremely disappointed. The service is extremely suck and slow.. Came earlier and placed order but food not being served.. Waited so long, approached the waiter , he then came back and said the staff overlooked then no apology at all. When almost finish my mee hoon I then hecked when the take away - fried fish with fish paste mee hoon is ready, been told to wait as still cooking.. The worst part was I only realized that they gave us the wrong item- a Fried fish with boiled fish head & yuen choi ( bayam) without mee hoon reach home.. Sucks!!!! Price increase from RM5.50 till now RM9.00 over the years, mee hoon small portion, soup taste& fish paste size not standardized!!!Over- fried fish part ... Disappointed!! continue reading

For lunch on a  busy Saturday that involves a lot of work, we decided to go somewhere near. This is a new place I just discovered. Sometimes I wonder why KL-ites always have cafe specifically for a certain item, like fish head curry, fish head noodles, Pan Mee, Porridge, etc food that are regarded as single food items. I guess it is because KL shop businessmen are quite rich to afford to do that. The fish head bihun is just ok. The best part is the soft flesh of the fish head. Very succulent and so fresh you could bite into the soft parts and even eat the eye balls and also enjoy the delectable cheeks. We could take as much sambal as we liked so we ended up finishing 4 plates of sambal! Can you believe it? The sambal was not diluted like what most cafes do to save money. The barley with foo chuk has indeed went through a lot of boiling but the result was a wonder. The drink was not thick and disgusting like how the other shops usually do it. Instead, it is very smooth yet not diluted. There were at least 4 gingko that was contained inside the barley too.  continue reading

Fish head noodle RM8.00Fish head noodle have diced tomatos, fried shallots, spring onions, preserved vegetables .There are few variants of noodles combination you can order from. The most original one is the deep fried fish head with rice vermicelli in evaporated milk added broth. The milkiness was very aromatic, the distinct flavour of milk gave a lingering fragrance in the mouth. The noodles were served with 4 large chunks of fish(head) meat. However, the amount of milk added much contribute to its tastiness. Too much or less may spoil the taste. continue reading
