The restaurant is always packed with customers most of the time. The place is congested especially during lunch hours that sometimes you will have to wait for the earlier customers to finish their food so you can get a nice decent seat for yourself. Hence, if you are planning to eat at the place, remember to go earlier. For the roast duck or chicken, 1/4 of it should be enough if you plan to order a second dish. We ordered 2 dishes for 4 people and it was just enough. The total of the two dishes costed RM40, and rice is at RM1.50 per plate. The taste overall is good but is expensive for the portion.  continue reading

Char Siu, also known as chinese style barbequed roast pork is very famous in Sun Ming too! Char sius are cooked as long strips of seasoned boneless pork and are skewered with long forks and placed in a covered oven or over a fire. Sun Ming's were amazingly tasty and the fatty meat were so chewy! The crust is especially crunchy and saltier with all the glazed barbeque sauce. continue reading

continue reading

This Sun Wing restaurant locates in Taman Connaught, specialized and famous in their signatures chickens, char siew, siew yuk and ducks. Sun Ming is located along the row of shopslots after BHP petrol station. Its always so crowded from day and night.Usually, i thought this kind of place will be overated and doesnt taste as good as it popularity but i was wrong. They're indeed very nice. The roaste pork aka charsie is roasted to its perfection, its crispy and abit of fatty layer which i love it. The roasted chicken is also very nice. Next time i come , i will try out their duck as well. continue reading

After some casual hang out with like-minded friends, we headed for our dinner as our tummy had been gnawing much earlier on. So, my friend suggested we give it a try at Sun Ming Restaurant instead as the traffic was no good at that evening. It was highly recommended for its roasted poultry. So the rest of us, gave it a green light and there we went Guess luck wasn’t at our side as by the time we reached there at about 7pm, most of the famous food like Yong Tau Foo and Roasted Pork had already been sold out. However, we were still complacent with those that were still available like roasted chicken and duck and we were pretty grateful about that, after some journey to there, hehe.Indeed, their roasted chicken is superb. We were lucky to be still able to grab drumstick part.Just at the sight of it, it was glaringly inviting. Roasted to perfection, the inner meat was still tender with the outer layer of crisp skin, which is a little sweet. I guess they did caramelized it a little. It was nice though. As for the roasted duck, I find it bit dry compared to the chicken. Perhaps the poultry was bit cold as we learnt that the shop had opened its business since morning. Guess it would taste much better if we had request it to be reheated a bit? Hehe.. Anyhow, the meat was juicy and soft with not much of strong smell. Then as we go with the accompany dipping sauce and rice, they were fine Not forgetting was the Stir Fried Bean Sprouts. Though am not a huge fan of this vege, this bean sprouts served by this restaurant proved to be great. They were crunchy and crisp with some fried garlic on top of it. Not like those skinny types that I usually seenOverall, this dining was delightful with buddies around the table continue reading
