How do you determine whether an Italian restaurant is truly authentic? Well there are many ways and Vineria.IT exudes the Italian culture. From the moment you walk in, there are bottles of wine stacked along the walls, all from the different parts of Italy. Heck, the manager is also Italian (and not bad on the eye as well)Then there is the test of the pizza as all proclaimed Italian restaurant must proof their worth in the wood oven baked pizza. Vineria.IT scores in the Quattro Formagio pizza with most of its ingredients imported from Europe. You can't get anymore authentic than that. The pasta is also magnifico!! Especially the seafood marinara. Vineria.IT is generous with the seafood with mussels, squid, and fish fillet. Paired with a sharp white wine really hits the spot. Why spend money to go to Italy when it's right in our backyard. continue reading

Having my dinner at Vineria.IT is a dinner treat from the big boss They have a very nice environment! I order myself a SALSICCIA IN PADELLA which is a homemade duck and foie gras sausages, tasty fried in hot pan with rosemary, garlic and served with eggplant paste and sautéed French beans aglio & olio as from the menu says.As for the taste I would say is bad the sausages is just black pepper taste and I cant even taste the foie gras taste Is not worth to try this dish. But I do order their dessert which is tiramisu! Is nice and full wiht whipped cream but the rum taste is less.Personally I think Vineria.IT is more suitable for wine session then dining session continue reading

Deep-fried stuffed parmigiana risotto balls. Chopped into small chunks for convenient eating. An addictive snack, but surprisingly filling, so go slow on them. Ravioli stuffed with duck meat, fried with sage and truffle butter sauce. A terrific recipe; the ravioli skin was soft and smooth, while the stuffing and the sauce combined forces for a powerful wallop of meaty and herbal flavours. Roasted baby goat. Steeply priced at RM160, but enough to feed two moderately hungry people. Our favourite platter for the evening: the meat was fork-tender and flavourful, though we're still not sure how to distinguish goat from lamb. Organic red wine (Cab. Sauvignon, Santa Julia Familia Zuccardi 2007, Argentina). continue reading

Bangsar Shopping Centre keeps getting better. One of the restaurant Vineria, is an offshoot of Bar Italia, offering rustic fare that's fairly unusual for a mall outlet. Thanks to the comfy setting and gracious service, it's a pleasant place that's perfect for a leisurely evening with friends.Rolled eggplant stuff with ham, mozzarella and mintnot plenty as it seems, but the quality of the food that tells. The fresh cut eggplant is wrapped nicely to the ham, ensuring the juice blend together so when we bite, the juice of both can flows into our mouth. Great one mouth could lead to another, perfect starter =) continue reading
