This place is famous for their wan tan mee served with many side orders. You can have the regular char siew, wild boar curry, chicken feet w/ musroom, pork leg vinegar, hakka stewed pork & even ginger duck. However I prefer their wild boar curry the most. It is fragrant & the meat is tender. Their noodles are hand made I think which is springy & has a good bite to it.The shop itself is just a typical stall type place by the side of the road. Quite clean & parking isn't that much of a problem. Then again I only come late nights so not sure during peak hours. continue reading

The famous Sg. Besi Wan Tan Mee stall never fails to attract the crowds, especially for the late diners from the wee hours. I used to eat here occasionally after work during my working days in KL. This stall is just next to a car accessories shop located off the Sungai Besi highway leading from KL to Seremban, just after the Nichii Fashion City and BHPetrol station. There are a great variety of wan tan mee to choose from, such as char siew wan tan, chicken slice, ginger duck, curry wild boar, mushroom chicken leg, Hakka stewed pork and etc.Char Siew Wantan Mee A bowl of sui kow (dumplings) soup , six pieces of wantan wrapped with decent amount of fillings which consist of prawns, pork and water chestnut. As expected, the char siew wasn't one of the best, but it wasn't one of the worst either. Luckily, the springy texture of the noodles saved the day. The noodle was springy, soft and smooth. The black sauce was not too salty.Credits to: EVERYDAY FOOD I LOVE continue reading
