this restaurant, is apparently quite old in the business as its been opened since early 2011s. my friend had a weird sudden temptation to try this restaurant out, so off we go.the restaurant was practically empty and the waiters were actually just slacking around behind the counters. when they took our orders and realize we ordered pretty simple dishes, they were very persistent in convincing us to order their signature chilli chicken wings instead. i don't know why but on that day me and my friends weren't very keen on having chicken wings LOL. one of the dishes we ordered is this Chilli Fried Noodles. its actually stated as Chilli Mee Goreng in the menu, and it deifnitely looks like the ones you see in mamaks haha. the portion that came was large and they serve fried chicken along with it, as well as lime to be sprinkled. the overall taste is not that spicy for me, but still spicy enough for first-timers. for a typical basic mee goreng, RM13 might be a little too pricey for you. continue reading

The Caramellised Pannacotta with Peaches are also another nice desserts besides the lovely cakes which is being served in Chilli Rush. The light Italian vanilla cream mousese are being topped with the peaches is sinfully good. Smooth and creamy texture of the desserts do melts our hearts down with it and this ends our meals for the day.Price: RM 9.90 continue reading

Famous for their spicy chicken, to me, it was actually fried chicken doused in loads and loads of sambal like chilli pasteAfter scrapping away the exterior (the chilli paste) the fried chicken is dry, tasteless, and frankly nothing impressiveThe spicy chicken goes up all the way to level 10 and it gave my friends a whole night of puking after thatSo why go through all that trouble for something that isn't beneficial at all continue reading

Heat-seekers can scorch their taste buds at Chilli Rush with fiery, fearsome fare that erupts up the Scoville scale with geyser-like fury.Chicken wings are the red-hot specialty here, calibrated in increasing intensity from 1 to 10. The lowest level is for toddlers & the timid, while the peak of punishment contains Naga Jolokia, or the "ghost pepper," recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's spiciest. "Level 10" chicken wings, coated with northeastern India's Naga Jolokia chili. We only took several bites before surrendering. For comparison, Naga Jolokia has a Scoville rating of about 1 million heat units _ more than 10 times that of "cili padi." These wings crackle with a high-voltage spiciness that persists on the palate and burns slowly in the stomach. Even when hell freezes over, these babies might remain ablaze; too hot to handle, but way too cool to miss. Anxious to cool down, we hopped over to The Bee for The Last Polka's current indulgences: strawberry cream cheese, French toast & coconut kaffir lime-flavored ice cream. Chilling out some more with Chardonnay. continue reading
