I was craving burger for dinner one day but I wanted gourmet burger, with quality ingredients, none of that fast-food-junk, and a good friend of mine directed me to rockstarz burger located in Sg. Ara. Established in 2012, this one of a kind burger joint packs a punch with their juicy burgers with witty names. Decked in rock-themed artworks, the restaurant only operates in the evening till late at night. Rock music playing in the background certainly comes in line with the theme and brings back memories of the glory era of rock in the 80's and early 90's. Their burgers are definitely a show stealer. Their signature burger, 'The Rockstarz', is a classic grilled handmade burger with a choice of chicken or beef (I recommend the beef). With no other sauces in this burger, it lets the fresh, juicy patty shines. Their other burgers are cleverly named as 'The Metallicheese', a tribute to Metallica I presumed, is a grilled burger drenched in cheese (also a favourite) and 'The Carbonara Romance', a burger with their special creamy carbonara sauce to name a few. You can also choose to have up to three patties in your burger if you are feeling extra hungry. The price mark I would say it to be easy on the pockets with the price range of RM7-13. My supper is the Bacon & Roses Heavy Metal. The stack is made from 3 meat patties, 3 slices of chicken bacon, cheese and sesame buns I had a chicken and two beef patties. You are allowed to mix if you order more than one.Both chicken and beef are equally mouth-watering. The chicken is more tender and smoother in texture, whereas the beef is looser in texture and richer in flavor. The chicken bacon slices are also succulent.The cheese slices are slightly deformed due to contact with the sizzling patties and bacon.The burger is overflowing with mayonnaise and barbecue sauce.
