If you looking for some healthy yet cheap dessert , this is the place situated nearby center of town in Penang.Last time they was just a small stalls beside the road but now they are having their own shop behind their stalls.This is basically the dessert part of the menu.You can choose the ingredient of the dessert according to your favourite.This is how the 'tong sui' looks like.I'd ordered their signature 'Si Koh Soup' which the soup includes of 4 type of ingredient which is Ginkgo,lotus seed, longan and red bean. The dessert is not overly sweet, hence suitable for most elderly.They have another signature dessert which is almond soup. However the soup has a very special savor i would say, which some claims that it has a weird smell and taste. So its very depends on people whether you like or hate it.Unlike other hawker center, here you can order the food nearby the street (yong tau fu, char koay teow, koay teow soup and so on) and enjoy in their shop. continue reading
