This is the first time ordering the Chicken Soup Noodle and when served it does appear a little disappointing by the looks of it. The noodle and chicken soup are being served separately and that did amused me a little. The chicken soup was rich with pieces of chickens and to my liking; the soup is crystal clear too. This might have appeared to be looking rather bland but the taste was great. The noodle also looked boring without any colour or sauce. However, the tasty soup complimented the noodles

The noodle also looked boring without any colour or sauce. However, the tasty soup complimented the noodles pretty well. I also love the texture of the noodle. Not too mushy but not too hard as well. It was slightly coated with sesame and fried shallot oil, and salt with a light sprinkle of spring onion.

The general feeling along the table was really good, and returning is ascertain on regular basis while the dizzying array of dishes accustomed to be shared as well as for the solo meal. So far, the noodles are great. The Cong You Lamien sells at RM 13.50 and simplicity is the best to indulge in authentic flavours.

What may seemed dull and boring could turn out rewarding for those who like it plain. The Glass Noodle Soup (RM 13.50) is beautiful for those who prefers something light for their meal. I think it would be greater if there are some vegetables in all their noodles.

Lastly, the favourite part of the meal for us arrived and I was pretty happy with the desserts. The Mango Pudding has a great texture and aroma so rich you can tell it is mango even if blind folded without tasting it.

Also for desert is the Soy Dumpling for Rm 7.50. It was very much like mocha with black sesame filling that is super sweet. But then the soya complimented it well. Black sesame is slightly bitter and with the sugar’s sweetness, the soya all together made quite a good combination.
