Kim Lian Kee has long existed since 1920s in Chinatown, Petaling Street, KL. Their famous charcoal-fried noodles can now be tasted in selected shopping centers. However, the taste is not the same, it is now mainly cooked by foreign workers.Moonlight Kuey Teow 月光河 - ingredients are kuey teow, pork, prawn, squid, pork lard, cabbage, black sauce and topped with a raw egg. The noodles was extremely oily, too much of fried pork lard and lack of 'wok fragrance' not like before anymore.
