Start of my healthy meal with a rich appetizer called the Antipasto. Antipasto means "before the meal" and is the traditional first course of a formal Italian meal. Traditional antipasto includes cured meats, olives, pepperoncini, mushrooms, anchovies, artichoke hearts, various cheeses, pickled meats and vegetables.
This is a mixed platter of olives, mozzarella cheese, sun dried tomatoes, green peas and corns. The whole combination was really tasty and agreed with my taste buds. I was never a fan of green peas, but somehow I didn't mind eating them in this dish. Well, remember to kick off a good meal with the naturally delicious Antipasto!
