A well-kept secret for now, this Thai restaurant with a verdant lake view has the potential to become a hot spot for everything from a romantic rendezvous to birthday bashes. Samira takes over from Yuritei, the Japanese tea house near the KL Performing Arts Center. The venue has been entirely refurbished, resulting in an enchanting setting. Dry tom yum chicken (RM22+). The meat without the soup, but with the sour spiciness intact. Northeastern Thai street food: Grilled beef with Isaan chili sau
Housekeeping notes: Samira is the sister outlet of Asian Terrace @ Solaris Mont Kiara.
Remember how we said recently that we only resort to Thai food once every three months? If more places like Samira pop up, then maybe once a month might be a better estimate.
