This would have to take the trophy as the best cendol I had in the Klang Valley. I don't know how there can be such a vast difference in quality when all the ingredients are pretty much standard, but it tasted somehow colder (what did they do with the ice?!) and the flavour of the gula melaka mixed into the coconut milk is more caramelly than most places, but not overly sweet; that is, there taste-to-sweetness ratio is higher - which means for the same sweetness, it tastes better. It was so good,
It was so good, I had two bowls - which I never do under normal circumstances. In fact it must have only been the second or third time I ever had a double serving - and the other times I was just outright thirsty!
