Now it’s all about cheese – or more specifically, the baked cheese tart. With the arrival of from Tokyo, Japan, the preference for these tarts, comprising of a lava cheese filling surrounded by pastry, has only intensified. Now there is no need to travel all the way to Japan and I can have these tarts as often as I wish.

I was there ! And I am so happy to have finally tasted the best Japanese cheese tart in town.I have been bombarded with different opinion from lots of my friends about the hottest topic in town currently.....cheese tart ! Since than, I have been going places to tastes different cheese tart by various shop.For the passed 2 weeks, cheese tarts has become almost my main meal for lunch and dinner. Those cheese tarts I've tasted for me is pretty normal, nothing to shout about until I tasted the cheese tart of Tokyo Secret. It may be slight higher in price compare to others, but it is really worth it. I can taste the authenticity of their cheese tart, the texture and the quality is uncomparable. One bite, just one bite you already can feel the different.For me, Tokyo Secret's cheese tart is easily the best in town.

CRUSTAlright, let's talk about the crust of the cheese tart.The crust of Tokyo Secret cheese tart is just right on point as it's just thin meanwhile it is friable. Its crinkle edge and sharply browned crust carry with the buttery texture!Dayummmm~!2. FillingsThe fillings is covered by a membrane of cheese which dried up due to the hot temperature of the oven.Though the surface of the cheese tart is dried up, but the cheese below is perfectly smooth and creamy with a lil taste of savory.PERFECT!3. PackagingLove at first sight!Their packaging is just simple and nice.A sharp yellow background carry a big contrast with the dark brown colored words which successfully attracted people's eyeballs. Paper bag design convey an eco-friendly image for the brand. (Bonus!)4. EnvironmentSlightly narrow. Only furnished with 3 small round tables available for customers to enjoy their cheese tart instead of take away.Generating awkwardness for customers who wish to have a seat and enjoy their dishes immediately.(Recommendation: expansion of the outlet is desperately needed!) My first try on the Tokyo Street No.1 Japanese Cheese Tart in Malaysia. Fresh baked upon ordering and they make in a batch. You need to wait 12 minutes in each batch. I love the fresh cheese tart, melt slowly inside my mouth. Crispy fluffy tarts with warm cheese. Totally worth RM 7.90 per piece and the queue to get it. Cool down with refreshing soft serve ice cream. Yummy!

Yup... Finally my sharing is up! ^.^Heyyo lovelies and foodies. Hope you guys are doing well as August is just around the corner. Today's sharing is about my personal review of my sweet date at Tokyo Secret KL. Anyway, thanks to OpenRice Malaysia for giving me this opportunity to have a review session as it's hard for me to find some Tokyo Secret date.Tokyo Secret is the place for tarts and dessert lovers to have a sweet dates yo. The signature of Tokyo Secret is the cheese tarts. Yes...is CHHEEEEESSSSEEE TARTS... (*^.^* really excited to start my date here). Though Tokyo Secret is not originated from Japan, this doesn't mean their taste is average as their ingredients are imported all the way from Japan yo. Tokyo Secret is the first Japanese cheese tart dating spot in Malaysia for desserts and cheesy lovers (and I'm the one of the cheesy lover ^.^v)Yay... come to me baby! ^.^ <3 *excited* Since is my very first time having my cheesy date, hop to their very first branch to seek the originality maybe? Since I seldom walk around IPC Shopping Centre, I do thought Tokyo Secret is in the mall at first. But after looking for it almost an hour time, me and Mr Chooi only noticed that Tokyo Secret is located along the corridor outside of the mall. In case you are looking for it in the mall, just look for Mac City will do as the shop do look like overlap (something like tumpang ^.^'''). Anyway, we just need to be patient as they will extend their shop and will be easier to spot in future.Will found IPC Tokyo Secret when you found the Mac CityWow... full house and everyone is waiting for their tarts.. 0.0Owh.. its out from the oven! *excited*Yup... place in my mouth will do. *over-excited ^.^*Okay, let us start our food story now after understand the location story as food date is our main point here. ^.^vKyoto Matcha-is green tea flavor soft serving with my optional chestnut toppingsPrice from RM 16 to RM 19(Is a must have for green tea lover as the ingredients are all the way from Japan yo)Fujiyama Winter- is like nitrogen gassy ice cream but is a normal ice cream with vanilla milky soft serve, some sort of ribena taste sauce and with white chocolate flakes toppings.And tadah! The signature dish is here! Introducing the Hanjyuku Cheese Tart~^.^ *nom nom nom*Muahahaha... finally I able to taste the cheesy tarts and it really do made my day (though it took almost an hour for me to look for this place ^^'').
