One of the Tong Kee Brother Confectionery is located at Damansara uptown. It is one of the famous bakery shop in Petaling Jaya where they specialize on egg tart. Upon entering the shop, I am attracted by the smell of freshly baked bread and the colourful pastries and cakes glowing from a bright showcase. The pastries here are "non halal" as they used lards, bacons and hams. My first thought was went to get their famous egg tart from the heated showcase. Somehow, I get attracted by the Meat Pie and Kaya Puff beside the Egg Tart, so I decided to get one of each. The egg tart is nice to eat while it still hot. The pastry part is so crispy and the egg part is so smooth and soft. As for the Kaya Puff and Meat pie, the pastry again is very crispy, the kaya portion is just nice and is more solid type and the meat is similar like "siew pao". Overall, I think the price is reasonable and the pastry is really tempting and delicious

Spicy Sausage Bun (RM2.20)This is the first time i ate the hotdog bun which is spicy flavor !!Its so special so to me and taste so nice .. Because the hotdog is wrapped with cheese and the bun is wrapped with a lots of mayo !! ^_^Hotdog Roll (RM1.80)This is nothing special to shout out..Same like other hotdog bun..Just the bun is soft Charcoal Hotdog Cheese Bun (RM2.30)Healthy Bun ever !The bun is made with charcoal ..inside the hotdog is also wrapped with cheese...taste good !Worth ot have a try for the bun here foe either breakfast of lunch ..

Chicken Pie. Ever since my mother found out there is a Tong Kee branch in uptown, every time we are around that area, she will drop by and walk in to buy something. That day, it was no exception. Apart from the egg tart that she bought, she bought this chicken pie too. She commented that the chicken pie has a different shape than last time. The chicken pie was dry and the taste was not strong as last time.

tong kee is famous of their crispy egg tart when coming here to damansara utama i will buy the egg tart and also the pie and other pastries. this chicken pie is really good and nice taste of the crispy outer layer of the pie. all their pastries looks delicious and mouth watering i will just pack some for my family for tea break during the weekends. and here they make daily fresh item

This is a famous chinese bakery house we all know. The Tong Kee was popular especially for its egg tarts. In this shop, it sells more than egg tarts. There are cakes, breads, puffs, and pies. The choices are aplenty. I wanted to reminisce the good old days when we used to buy Tong Kee egg tart. However, i am quite disappointed that the same old flavors is not there anymore. What i am tasting is more commercialized, more machine taste. The aroma of the egg tart was no longer there.
