Hokkien Mee in Mei Yen Restaurant perhaps is not the best one. The hokkien mee is quite oily which I don't really like it. But the taste is quite good la even though a little bit salty. The portion is quite ok. I think the price is also acceptable.

Hokkien Kuey Teow Mee. That night I was craving for the fry lala at this shop. Therefore, apart from the fry lala, we ordered their signature hokkien kuey teow mee also. The hokkien kuey teow mee has enough "wok hei" and it was quite moist. The taste was not too salty. It consisted of meat slices, lettuces and pork lards. It's sambal was thick and quite fragrant too.

普通的咖哩，金香，清蒸啦啦等煮法就吃得多了，这个上汤啦啦倒是第一次尝试。比起清蒸，这个上汤啦啦更能吃到啦啦的鲜味，而且吃时还可以嗅到阵阵花雕酒的香味，吃完啦啦还可以喝口浓浓吸收完啦啦鲜味的上汤呢。
