When come to buffet, always opt for lunch instead of dinner in order for my stomach to have ample time to do its job before called it a day. With RM 125.30 nett per pax, I could expect more on a relaxing weekend. This could be one of the place if you don't mind to pay a little bit more to spend half a day of your lazy weekend.Oh ya ... too excited and busy exploring and tasting the food hence only captured above few photos as people already marching in. There were around 15 stations offering from local famous to standard international cuisine. Worth mentioning is their Chinese kitchen offering fish maw soup which I like it so much I helped myself a second bowl . Also a fresh giant grouper fish ready to be steamed upon request (already sliced to fillet and in a whole fish shape still). Unfortunately the so called chef in-charged of the Chinese kitchen spoilt the texture by over steamed it. Prawn noodles with really tasty soup broth. Remarkable Japanese kitchen with one whole cooked salmon fish with a number of side dishes. Also Ramen and beautiful sushi if want for more. Steamed crab okay, pizza and pasta so so. 繼續閱讀

As part of Hilton KL's F&B revamp, we're bidding farewell to Sudu & The Noodle Room, both of which have been merged into a new outlet, Vasco's.The hotel's all-day-dining restaurant is supposed to showcase an "urban park" stylishness; it's spacious enough to seat scores of starving customers in the evening.Sneaking a peek at the dinnertime buffet, the crowd-pleasing choices are naturally accounted for, from mussels on ice, sushi & sashimi ...... to some intriguing mains, including roasted rib-eye with spinach-leek fricassee & olive oil, peppered duck breast in balsamic berry sauce & lasagna al forno with red bell pepper coulis. Not particularly pretty pictures, but this was after many customers had snatched their share.Alluring slabs of medium-rare beef & freshly made thin-crust pizzas. Shouldn't nitpick about the solid selection here. What we can wince at: the price, about RM128++ when the sun's setting. Ouch.Still, every hotel needs a buffet restaurant, so this one serves its purpose very well. Ultimately, we'd leave here floating on a sugar high, no doubt about that. Not keen on buffets? No worries: Vasco's also offers a contemporary-cuisine a la carte menu that includes kerabu crab salad, masala-scented porcini mushroom soup, burrata cheese pizza & warm chocolate brownies laced with kaffir lime leaves. 繼續閱讀
