I just won a complementary Nando's Cataplana Originale from Nando's facebook page. So, me and my friend went to try it out at IPC's Nando's. This is the "mild" Cataplana Originale. It contains chicken thighs with fried rice and fresh grilled vegetables for eg: red chilli peppers, courgettes and tomatoes. Such a healthy meal with so many vegetables! When it came to my table, the portion was smaller than I was expected. But luckily the chicken thighs and rice able to make me feel full. =)Because I cant really eat spicy food, so i ordered "mild" for this Cataplana Originale. The taste of the dish is a bit sour with the "mild" sauce and taste a bit weird. So i would like to suggest you to choose another sauce to complement this dish. My friends ordered a 1/4 mild peri-peri chicken with 2 side dishes. She was soo happy that the chicken given was so big (bigger than 1/4) and delicious! The fries was tasty and not soggy! The staffs were so polite and service was soo good!
