Metal Box 在我“想去的咖啡馆”名单上很久了，常常看到朋友圈中发的照片，弄得我心痒痒地。这一天，我以周年纪念日为理由，拉了某人就走，打算吃一顿丰富的早餐，喝一杯香浓的咖啡来庆祝一下。Metal Box 走的是工业风，在 Empire Damansara 这个以灰色砖墙砌出来的复古风建筑配搭得天衣无缝。柜台旁边有个大货柜，经过改装之后变成了他们的厨房。在货柜的另一端是户外的座位，天气好的话在这里用餐还挺有外国 feel 的。我们选了一个靠窗的位子，这里的服务员出了名服务快捷又亲切，递上餐牌之后还不忘向我们推荐新推出的周末套餐。套餐里包括一份 Metal Box Breakfast，一杯咖啡和一杯鲜橙汁，价格 RM29.90 算是很亲民啦！所以我们立刻就来一份了。趁食物还没送到，我细细观察咖啡馆四周。从进门的那一刻起，我就注意到咖啡馆里没有洋溢着咖啡香，心里有点失望，空气中的咖啡香是有一种让人觉得幸福的魔力的。可能这里是以餐点为主的吧，所以咖啡香欠奉。从早上十点开始营业的 Metal Box，人潮一直不断，是 Empire Damansara 里数一数二受欢迎的餐厅。不过我有点纳闷的是，这里有着咖啡馆的布局，但是播放的却是时下流行音乐，而不是咖啡馆专属的轻柔音乐，少了一点气氛哦~这里出菜的速度真快，我只不过拍了几张照片，食物和咖啡就已经准备好了。先来看看周末优惠套餐，小小一杯的鲜橙汁很纯很鲜，早上来一杯会给人活力的感觉。（左）Cappuccino - RM9.90，（右）Flat white - RM9.90Cappuccino 和 flat white 都是奶的比例比较重，所以咖啡味不多，咖啡爱好者来说应该是不过瘾的，至少要来个 double shot 才行，口感方面还算顺滑的。The Metal Box breakfast - RM24.90The Metal box breakfast 我个人觉得是很有诚意啦～应该是继 Cultura 之后，另一个值得推荐的 big breakfast。炒蛋很滑嫩，有蛋香也有奶香。茄汁豆是自制的，酱汁有加入了意大利香料所以有点意大利番茄酱的影子。做成小颗粒的 hash brown 比一般大块的更香脆。美中不足的是我觉得鸡肉香肠的味道太淡了，不过某人说他喜欢这样的味道。Metal Box baked egg - RM19.90本来我是有点抗拒像 Metal Box baked egg 这种一锅熟的料理的，但这是 Metal Box 最推荐的美食之一，所以不得不点。小碗里面有鸡胸肉、香肠、马铃薯、茄汁豆和茄子，全都用特制的番茄酱熬煮过，上面有两颗鸡蛋和芝士粉。鸡蛋煮得近乎完美，蛋白是熟的，蛋黄还是完美的液体状，太妙了！我不知道正确的吃法是怎样，但是我肯定是不会把蛋黄弄破和其他材料拌在一起的。这么美的蛋黄当然是要小心翼翼地放在汤匙上，再咬开一小个洞口慢慢吮吸蛋黄液。Baked egg 配上他们自制的 sour dough 感觉很不错，面包有结实的口感但不会太硬。但是面包吃完之后，剩下的 baked egg 就会略显重口味了。这里的餐点都不错，就是咖啡淡了一点。这里的环境和服务都是让我会再来的原因之一，话说我真的很喜欢 Empire Damansara 的设计，尤其是那些欧陆复古风的砖墙，很适合外拍呢！By 阿七

Highly recommend this restaurant name Metal Box which is located in empire damansara. Nice environment and top service. I had not waiting more than 10 minutes to get my food and beverage. I ordered Seafood Aglio Olio and Flat White for my lunch. Very satisfied for their food and service. Not much people maybe I went there on weekday. The size of the dish is small compare to other I think BOY may not enough to eat but it's a chance to try dessert. I will go there again to try their brunch because it look delicious on the menu hope it will be another Good food experience

Safe to say we got there just in time! Because after we sat down and ordered, people were filling up the place, there were no seats left! Their service is top notch I would say. Very friendly staff. Service is fast too! Within 10 minutes we got our food, I was delighted! Talk about food, it's delicious! I had the The Red Benedict, which they have glaze red wine sauce by the side of the dish. The mushrooms are ohh so nice, the egg benedicts too. Not to mention scrumptious croissant. A delightful brunch indeed. Mad love.

Facing the main road, near Neo damanura is the metal box!The interior is quite spacious, and it wasn't crowded on a Saturday at 1130am. There are glass bottles of water on the table for yourself to help yourself to the water.Here is their menu. They have a decent variety of food to choose from.There are also c ales at the cashier, all looked so good! And they were said to be made from scratch, in house!I got the speciality French toast and for 15.90rm I felt that it was reasonably priced. It was very filling as it was made of nest in. I could only eat two slices. The gula Melaka was an interesting addition To the French toast.Usually most hipster cafes will serve this with honey but not the metal box! Here is our breakfast spread.The flat white was decent but nothing to rave about. They also have free wifi.. The password is the metalrocket.And this was the bill for the brunch
