I've read about this place and found it quite interesting, especially for the carnivore part of my brain. A whole store dedicated to pork? Why not?A friend of my mom decided to bring us there for lunch one day and there was something that she ordered which blew my mind. Caramel Bacon Tart!It's kind of weird because the caramel is very very sweet, but at the same time there is that subtle taste of bacon which really confuses my brain. The tart shell is nothing to shout about cause there isn't much flakyness which I prefer, but the filling is... Interesting. Everyone should give this a try!Since we wanted to indulge in a porky feast, we ordered some Bahn Mi Sandwich with Siew Yoke as a filling. As much as I love sandwiches, this was not my favourite because the flavours were only so so and the entire thing was slightly drier than I would like.Though the roasted pork belly had a crispy skin which is a plus! Then we also ordered the Char Siew Mantao and it was alright. The pork was sweet and nice but really nothing to shout about other than that. It isn't that Crack Pot didn't do this dish justice but I've tried better and was slightly disappointed that the meat was not melting in your mouth soft. Though the taste is good, just not the best.
