managed to get the salted egg yolk pastry and also the salted egg yolk pandan pastry to bring back home and tried their egg tarts on the spot! didn't quite like the egg tarts as the fillings weren't "eggy" as expected. the pastries however were delicious! would highly recommend to get the salted egg yolk pastry.  繼續閱讀

Ming Xiang Tai 名香泰饼家 is a shop which is selling a wide range of bakeries and also some chinese cuisines. This review is about the branch located at Jalan Burma.Egg tartsThis bakeries is the egg tarts. The egg yolk part is not enough yellowish. Ming Xiang Tai 名香泰饼家 是一家很出名的饼家,几乎身边的每一个人都懂这饼家的存在。。这饼家历史悠久,也曾经上过报纸,是老字号。。这里的饼真的比较好吃,饼皮被烘到刚刚好,不会太焦。。在众多饼中,我最喜欢叉烧烧包。。除了饼皮好吃外,内陷也特别好吃。。 繼續閱讀

Ming Xiang Tai 名香泰饼家 is a pastry shop in Penang that sells various types of chinese/cantonese pastries and delights. It is located at Jalan Burma, Georgetown.Tau Foo FaTau Foo Fa is one of my favourite Hong Kong style dessert. I love the smooth and velvety texture of the tau foo fa. This tau foo fa has a very strong soy bean flavour. When eaten with gula melaka, it is simply divine. Tau foo fa is best eaten while hot. 繼續閱讀

Ming Xiang Tai I had been before on the same year,2013 and I'm addicted to it after the first time I drink it. When I step inside the shop,warm air and the aroma of freshly ground soya bean milk and the pastries greeted me. It's right opposite Chew Thean Yang aquarium. I was accident drop by there and couldn't believe that it's so tasty as I aspect. You really gotta try the texture of the pastry and the egg custard yourself. The famous of this shop is those pastry. You couldn't control your hand and mouth to order the pastry as the pastry place plate by plate front of us with the aroma freshly smell. For the best result or maximum of its palatability,eat it or drink the soy milk when it's still hot, if possible, within half an hour after purchase and never ever keep it overnight. The special is the soy bean milk is in glass bottle and it also free two small container of black caramel to added into the soy milk to have a better taste. 繼續閱讀
