To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. I don’t mind to pay more if the food is tasty and authentic. I have to say Gyukaku is not up to par serving Korean bibimbap which I ordered this afternoon for lunch.1. I was quite shocked they served cucumber with Japanese sesame sauce for appetiser, green tea and light seaweed soup.2. The iron bowl was warm so there’re no crispy rice formed at the bottom of the bowl.3. There were 4/5 pieces of super tiny beef cubes, green cabbages, kimchi, chopped purple onion with an egg in the middle, unlike the authentic Korean ones with shredded CARROT, SPINACH, SOYBEAN SPROUT, FRIED MEAT with crispy seaweed on top.4. If they sell it as bibimbap, please make it more authentic. If not, they should sell it as “iron pot of rice with meat”. Please DO NOT disillusion the customers by making something trickery but not authentic and please REMOVE ‘bibimbap dish’ from their menu if the restaurant is unable to find appropriate ingredients.

very good value for 燒肉！less than $300 per person with free flow of beer! staffs are very polite and the orders come swiftly!! all food are very tasty ❤️ from the cooked appetizers to beef/pork/chicken are all good! the squids are fresh and juicy, sausages are specially tasty! 多春魚 also good! just wish to have more veggie - but the salad made up of it. 💯不過香港仔店都好細，所以我地5:45就到左😂

New promotion is out and we went to this bargain buffet set. 248 hkd for a person and it had great service. Foods came quick as well , 30 hkd extra then u have the beer all you can drink as well , but make sure u book a table so that u don’t have to wait at the front . The meats that we have ordered was fresh and tasty , my flavour was the jp chicken wings . It’s very juicy

食過一次石頭鍋牛飯定食後就念念不忘，所以一有機會就去食，但因為會員可以優先入座，所以有時看到人多就放棄，今天幸運地不用等位.定食有野飲，面豉湯（沒影相），沙律和石頭鍋飯.其實還有另一款是海鮮鍋飯，但因為這個牛太好食，所以每次都忍不住order這個.棘醬另上故可隨自己喜好加. 熱棘棘最啱凍的日子食😆
