To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 過去幾年,這個太興燒鵝一直都是心目中的米芝蓮,也曾帶過不少朋友前往品嘗。過往的燒鵝皮,帶有誘人的木香煙熏味,皮脆肉香,入口難忘,比起很多著名的燒鵝店出色。因為日前裝修,每日經過,只可期待。今日是裝修後第一次去朝聖。一坐下便點了喜愛的燒鵝飯,食了一啖,出事!皮靭肉鞋,皮已經完全沒有曾經的木香煙熏味,整個靈魂 一下子煙消雲散⋯⋯,剩下的只是柴皮。問職員:點解冇左木香煙熏味?職員回答:現在已經改良了,沒有做木香煙熏。即是茶葉蛋冇茶味,檸檬茶冇檸檬味! 完!走出門口,回望新裝修,金玉其外!又少了一間可以去的餐廳! continue reading

说来有趣,第一次吃太兴不是在香港而是在北京,大概2014/15年,有点久远记不大清,那时太兴在北京铺开好多家分店,而西直门那家离我很近经常去吃,外地朋友特别是北方人来北京我也会请他们去一下。十年前北京正宗的港式茶餐厅很少,太兴的奶茶和烧味让我们印象深刻。转眼快十年了,这几年在香港到处吃似乎不再对茶餐厅有多大兴趣,今日刚好路过铜锣湾又见太兴,吃到了怀念的味道,也勾起一些美好的回忆。在香港待久了就知道茶餐厅哪有什么服务,当然不会要求,但感觉这家服务还可以,帮我换了走甜的奶茶,没有其他评论说的那么差。(也许是我说广东话的关系?)总而言之,很喜欢太兴,也感谢他䇄立这些年没有放弃餐饮业,有时一顿饭会是人与人间一辈子的回忆。祝生意兴隆! continue reading

食都未食,早上唔係好多人嘅時候,等位叫你俾埋一邊等,喺裏面等,有兩個侍應分開兩次叫你企左又企右,第三次嗰個直程叫你話企出面先係正確。如果你要客企出面係咪應該一早第一個人就應該講?三個侍應三重標準,玩啲客。幾十蚊個早餐本身就冇諗過要有咩服務,但係呢個係原則問題,我哋三個人你覺得阻埞嘅咪早啲講囉。最簡單一樣嘢,個生意唔係自己嘅就可以鬧啲客,老闆請啲咁嘅員工真係食得屎.其實平時早上幫襯開中環店,嗰度嘅員工完全冇問題,所以相信係銅鑼灣呢一間比較特別。 continue reading

是日喺跑馬地早放,同事想嘆番杯奶茶。跑馬地一落銅鑼灣就見到太興,同埋太興嘅奶茶不嬲都出名做得唔錯,就入去食個Tea。-羅宋湯通粉配日式四色卷 凍奶茶少甜羅宋湯唔可以話係正宗,似蕃茄湯底多啲,四色卷表皮炸得香脆,不過入面啲餡就甩甩地,味道尚可。-濃香星洲炒米粉 凍奶茶加冰個炒米好多料,而且好乾身,一啲都唔油,色水同味道亦足夠。講講個凍奶茶,如果唔叫多冰係會以冰震嘅形式奉上,好處係唔會令到杯茶淡左,另一杯雖然叫左多冰,但因本身太興嘅奶茶有一定質素,夠濃郁,所以就算叫左多冰都唔會好淡。 continue reading
