This is the second time ordering from Chotto Maki. Consistently delicious to put it simply. The rice is soft, some would say overcooked but if you have had the maki rolls in Syndey metro stations that are refrigerater hard, you would appreciate that the rice here is pretty good and well seasoned. We ordered the Black manga, Philadelphia and Sea Monster, along with a side of 3 scallop sushi, all were delicious. There are many to choose from. We ordered the Black manga, Philadelphia and Sea Monster, along with a side of 3 scallop sushi, all were delicious. There are many to choose from. These 3 are my faves, raw fish and mayo is a great combo.
The place was clean and tidy but we opted takeaway amidst the virus situation.
Price was fair to a bit on high side for takeaway rolls, but they would probably adjust for discounts soon.
The only other thing to comment is that their wasabi packets are TOO HOT, the first time I tried it, my coughing took the wind out of me. I opted for wasabi packets from another store which is in our office fridge, and you can see from the last picture, that the wasabi on the bottom left hand side was my own and more decent than the ones that they gave.
