This place made me feel nostalgic. The smell from the tea and the people working there. Even though this local cafe has stood on Hysan Avenue for more than a decade, it is reasonably new and luminous. People who work there feel like they are part of your family. I guess this is the feelings of human touch and interaction which is running scared of in this Artificial Intelligence epoch. I greatly enjoy the milk tea from Sun Ying kee. It gives you a jolt for any time of the day. It is wonderfully silky, highly caffeinated. The food on the menu is all familiar food. I have ordered an assorted fried noodle the other night, the noodles did a great job soaking up the sauce and the residual flavors of all assorted goodies with the famous 'wok hei' aka "breath of the wok". Last morning, I visited Sun Ying Kee gain, having their continental breakfast. You can choose your meat on the plate from pork, chicken, and fish. My choice was pork with 2 sunny sides up egg. It came with Heinz baked beans and a crispy toast. After the homey breakfast I felt like I will be on the top of my game the whole day.

This restaurant has been here a long, long time. At least 15 years. I’m not sure why there are so few reviews.This restaurant is in a really busy and popular area. I used to come here when I was in middle school and I thought the food was pretty good then. Now, it just tastes kind of average. Maybe it’s more me than them, but I don’t really know.I got a beef noodles 乾炒牛河 to go at night. $57 and no discount or anything. The food was fine, nothing special. I was not too impressed by the fact that there is no to go special at all.Probably wouldn’t come back, but I think this place will continue to be here for a while, so who knows.

今晚晚餐快閃，為咗聽日都戒食飯先，勁TR90烚鯪魚球、烚牛肉🥩、菜心🥬簡簡單單又一餐～ 烚牛肉 $81烚完之後滾上熟油，放薑蔥面，菜心鋪底，再點上椒絲豉油😋😋😋烚鯪魚球 $81中意食又唔怕腥既都okay,但🆚烚牛肉就冇得比～Overall諗唔到食咩來「新英記」食下都係不錯選擇哦，簡簡單單又一餐❤️新英記茶餐廳 (銅鑼灣)地址：銅鑼灣希慎道2-4號蟾宮大廈地下9號舖

This is a classic Chinese style cafe with the traditional Hong Kong style dishes from Breakfast eggs, toast, macaroni to Wonton noodles, fried rice, Singapore noodles and Curry which all have a very high quality and taste. Portion is decent and price is reasonable. Practical deco and very clean environment. My favourite is the Curry, Wonton and the Mix Vegi Fried Noodles. Too many choices to choose from. Give a try and will not disappoint you.

等左好耐終於上年重開了，太開心喇，一直都好想食返新英記的火腿蛋飯，終於有得食😍😍😍一坐下就一定叫火腿蛋飯囉😋😋😋，同以前的味道係一樣架，好好味，我仲食曬添，讚👍🏿😋😋
