Today is New Year's Eve and I booked a table for four to have my two kids, 8 and 5, join my partner and I to have a nice lunch to celebrate the impending new year.Lunch is $308/head with choice of swordfish, fettuccine with beef check, Spanish omelette or grilled swordfish. The food is so so but what gets me is the horrendous service!When we arrive, there are only two tables including ours. It's not busy but despite having one maitre d and five waiters nobody served us. Lunch is $308/head with choice of swordfish, fettuccine with beef check, Spanish omelette or grilled swordfish. The food is so so but what gets me is the horrendous service!
When we arrive, there are only two tables including ours. It's not busy but despite having one maitre d and five waiters nobody served us. After each and every plate of our antipasti buffet we had to lug the dishes and dump them on the neighbouring table as despite repeated requests no waiter cared to help .
All the while we were there they were all 10000% engaged and engrossed in preparing for the setting and decoration for the big dinner tonight.
With a total of three tables in all even with we asked for the check, I saw no reason the haste needed. The only reason is "I don't freaking care, I wanna finish my must-do duties then it's siesta time until the kingdom come!!!!"
I would never ever come back again.
