That was a farewell lunch. I had a lor farewell lunches for the past month. It caused me a headache to choose a place after all the lunches. Luckily I felt like having grilled eel that day and I knew matsubishi was the right place. I am an old customer to matsubishi. It would not surprise me but it can always satisfy me. Two of us, ordered a grill salmon set and an grilled eel set. The eel was surely better than the salmon because to me, the salmon steak was a bit over cooked. The eel was covere
I am an old customer to matsubishi. It would not surprise me but it can always satisfy me. Two of us, ordered a grill salmon set and an grilled eel set. The eel was surely better than the salmon because to me, the salmon steak was a bit over cooked. The eel was covered with the sweet sauce which was appetizing. The skin was fatty and soft. I would love it more if the skin were crispy like how they did to the teppanyaki eel. Well, it’s not teppanyaki.
The set came with rice steamed egg, miso soup, salad and pickled radish that was enough to make you full. It was ended with sea salt ice cream which was always the best choice of dessert from matsubishi.
There was an apparent low point of this lunch. The rice was a bit too moist. So a famous and long established Japanese restaurant could make mistake . 😂
I give a rather low points to the environment only because of the heavy odour from the teppanyaki area to other areas.
