Randomly saw the advertisement of this restaurant from a local foodie magazine. The Kagoshima menu only serves within a limited period till 30 November 2015 with a 30% discount. Therefore, with such an attractive price and claiming itself to be the best of Kagoshima, my bf and I decided to have a try.
It's an 8 course lunch menu set. every dish tasted brilliantly good and beautiful presentation. By tasting the food, you can tell that they are really fresh, especially the sashimi and the clam and fish cake from the soup. I would rate all the 8 dishes for 80-89 marks. The dish which surprised me most would be the fried dish (prawn and sweet potato tempura). Liked their dessert too. It's a vanilla ice cream dessert with baked/grilled sweet potato adding some hint of honey on top. Everything goes perfectly well with each other.
Service: Very attentive. Basically they will add tea to your cup when it's still half full. Very helpful staff and polite.
I would recommend everyone to have a try of their Kagoshima Kaiseki set, with such pricing, I think it does worth a try. I would probably come back for their dinner menu.
