We just had a bad experience in this afternoon. We just had a bad experience in this afternoon. Totally different experience that i had one week ago.
How come their service can be so fluctuated.

When we were in the arrival lobby, the manager (may be) was recording how many customer could have the afternoon tea in the lounge.

However, he didn't realize the seating plan in 102/F wasn't enough for 6 people to sit together (especially today, Mother's Day - family day)
When it was 3pm, the queue was starting moved. And when it was our term (3:20pm), the hostess / waitess told us that they didn't have any table for us at this moment, could we wait? of course we wait, we have already spent 80 mins for queuing.

After 10 mins, she asked us to wait upstairs, and we thought," finally is our term."

When we were in the reception area, i looked around and found out that the house was full, and only bar table was empty. At this moment, the hostess asked us to sit at the bar table if we didn't mind. We asked how long we could have a table instead of bar table. She said she promised to give us table once available, but we were in waiting list since other groups also want to change table. And we said ok.
However, we sat in a L shape, we couldn't talk with each other since the distance was really far, it seems like we were in two groups (one group in 4 & one group in 2).

After 5 mins, one table for 4 left ( i called it A), and we asked to change for that table (we didn't mind to sit close to each other). The waiter need to confirm with the hostess. Meanwhile, the people in other table next to A left also, we thought if the other groups that waited in front of us didn't change the table, those table would be for us. Unlikely, the host gave the tables to other groups (jsut came from the arrival lobby) which my friends realized that they queued behind us in arrival lobby. So we complained the manager (the one who record the no. of people in arrival lobby) why she promised to gave us the table once available but she just didn't.

And she came to told us that she could arrange us to have 2 tables which can each sit for 3 people. For us, there was nothing change to sit like this way. If sitting like this, i just dated 2 friends is ok, why i dated 5 friends. We refused her offer, and she went back to somewhere and gave a call to other restaurant, and she brought us to a table in Tosca which can sit for 6 people. And everything was settled. (but the mood was already be affected)

During 2 hours tea time, the waiter / manager only came to serve us for 3 times and our teapots were always out of tea.

We found some issues for this lounge
1. Seating planning is not flexible - too many fixed fitting: a large bar table, two large oversize lights.
2. No communication between arrival lobby and lounge reception - arrival lobby only calculate for total people, but not share the distribution of groups to the lounge, the lounge cannot arrange the table on time).
3. Not enough seat / area for large group of people - maximum only 4 tables / areas.
4. First come first serve is not really applied.
5. If there is no complain, they assume that you are fine even they promise you something.
See if they can solve / minimize issue or not.

The price is a bit crazy
last week $198 for 1 tea set for 1 people
today become $268 for 1 tea set for 1 people
we don't know it is because of Mother's Day or the price is already uprise to this standard in normal day. But just a week.........35% more.
