The FoodI ordered a plate of Golden Shoe Nasi Lemak which comes with a fried chicken drumstick, fried egg and fried cabbage. The pandan flavoured rice is fragrant with strong coconut aroma. The fried chicken drumstick is big, crispy and fingerlicking good. As for the sambal chilli, is sweet and savory and blends well with the rice which enhances the aroma of the rice! The PriceReasonably priced at $2.50 per plateOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

The rice was really fragrance and the grain was not sticky. Taste like authentic nasi lemak. The dishes was serve piping hot and the rice too. It was very cheap, having a sausage, egg, luncheon meat with ikan billies it's only $2.50. And it is really tough to find cheap food near raffles place. I feel that overall was really good and up to standard, will pop by again when there are chances to do so. continue reading

There were couple of nasi lemak stalls 'infested' at this hawker centre and everyone had their own opinions as which stall serves the best nasi lemak. I just followed the crowd, the longer the queue the better the food must be. We ordered with a chicken drumstick, fishcake, omelette and ikan bilis at $3.00.The rice was very fragrant with both the pandan leaves and coconut, the ingredients were all tasty and the chilli were super too! We really enjoyed it. continue reading

Despite fierce competition from competitor, Golden Shoe Nasi Lemak has its own supporters who feel the nasi lemak at International is overrated and the queue is too long. A plate of nasi lemak which costs $2.50 comes with ikan bilis, a fried egg and a fried chicken wing. Strongly scented with the irresistable fragrance of coconut milk, every grain of rice is extraordinarily flavorful and combines impressively with the savory sambal tumis chilli paste. The fried chicken is crispy and tasty. continue reading

This is one of the cheaper food you can find in this area. And for this price you can get a reasonable portion and good quality food. it been awhile since I have eaten the nasi lemak with pandan rice. normally they just served you the normal white nasi lemak rice. one of the dish that is a must order is their drumstick, I called it a healthy fried drumstick as it is not oily and when you cut into it, oil does not ooze out. The meat is tender despite being deep fried, I love the sinful fried skin, it is very crispy and flavourful. I ordered their egg and ikan bilis as well. their egg yolk is not fully cooked so it is very creamy. I love to blend the yolk with my rice. the ikan bilis is a little salty if you eat it on its own. My favourite thing besides the rice and drumstick is their sambal, sweetish and spicy, really delicious. continue reading
