The food they provide are fresh. Didn't have those weird smell when you place for too Long. The fried food are a bit hard. Must be place there for some time. But the 🍣, sashimi, seafood are fresh. So far, the food, 🍨 are good. Except the drinks. I took a cup of apple juice and it came out bitter carbonated water. The lemon tea is bland. Taste as though they kept mixing with water. Atmosphere is great cos I dislike crowded places. continue reading

Been to quite a few buffet restaurants recently, I quite miss my sakura buffet. It has been quite a few years since I dine there. On a Monday night, I climb all the way up to the restaurant on top of the hill and found the price is still reasonable $30 nett per person. To my surprise, it wasn't very crowded. The seafood at level 2 were not fresh (you will know it when you start eating their sashimi), there was not much variety for the buffet spread. I do agree that $30 nett what do you expect? However, the choice was really limited and some of the food not replenish after 7.30pm. I was there at 7.30pm and waited for the whole night for the otah and pizza, but none was replenished. The restaurant closed at 10pm and suppose last serving is at 9.30pm, however, to my horror, the service staff started to sweep the floor at 9pm. Initially we thought they will only swept the area without customers, but they actually swept nest to us (less than a foot away). Hygiene? One more point to note, last serving at 9.30pm is for the buffet spread, the hot drinks machine is off for maintenance at 9pm, hence no more hot drinks after 9pm.The only plus point is that they served Ben & Jerry ice cream!I hope that this bad experience only subject to the outlet at Clementi, but I may not have the courage to try other outlets. continue reading

It's a favourite place for low budget gathering and enjoy unlimited foods and drinks. They have 2 floors inside the restaurant. The upper floor provides sushi, sashimi, tepanyaki, pizzas and dessert. You need to climb up and down to get the foods. Reminder for girls, avoid to wear short skirts tongue There are many eyes down there. shockedYou can find seafoods, BBQ food, soup, fried noodles, chinese cuisine, fried foods and many more for this buffet. I love the Durian puffs but they do not provides it everytime. It's depends on your luck tongue continue reading

It was the worse buffet / restaurant I have ever been to. We went there recently and everything was bad. It has 2 levels down so when I went in, the server at the entrance made it a point to tell the people in front of me that you have to walk 2 levels down but 'forgotten' to tell me, such that I went through 2 levels before finding my table. They just said 'table 12' and left me to find it myself. The food was horrible. The popular dishes were the grilled chicken, salmon fillet, cod fillet etc. The chicken was not cooked properly, and the cod fish was not cooked inside! The whole molten chocolate cake is for your taking here. The molten chocolate was average, enough only for a mild chocolate satisfaction. continue reading

I love going to sakura buffet whenever there is class gathering, family gathering, or simply dining out with friends. Lots of varieties available ranging from sushi, pizza, finger food, noodles, cakes, dessert and ice cream. And because it is a buffet, you just pay for a price and eat as much as you can. The food there are quite fresh, hot and good too! continue reading
