Introduction
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has grown into one of the largest privately-owned, family-run coffee and tea companies in the world. Along the way, The Bean, as it is affectionately known, has become the model for a successful coffee and tea company. The coffee is roasted fresh daily in small batches in a manual European roast style, then packed using state-of-the-art equipment for shipment in the roasting facility and delivered fresh daily to the stores. continue reading

"La copi" (drinking coffee) at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Jurong Point.Since Christmas is coming, I have decided to have the mood by ordering their Ice Blended Black Forest Mocha with no whip cream. The comes with a cute red cherry on top and sprinklers bits of red and green added to the brown colour of mocha. A sip and you can taste a stong flavour of rum in it but luckily you won't get drunk on it. Not too sweet like other ice blended coffee. Just right for this Christmas Season. continue reading

This is the most terrible coffee bean stall in Singapore. I will definitely not go back again. My order: tiramisu, the ultimate, pumpkin latte (hot) and Boston chocolate cake. The Boston chocolate cake was alright, but you will get sick after you finished the whole slice. The ultimate was not my drink so didn't get to try it, but i heard from my friend that I was nice. However, the pumpkin latte (seasonal drink) tasted weird. Strong pumpkin taste that overwhelmed the latte and worst of there is a strong taste of cinnamon. Not sweet at all. The tiramisu was suppose to be nice. But they gave me an expired one; my friend actually tasted it and find it weird so he asked me to try out. OMG, it was soggy and sour. So i went to the manager is this what their tiramisu suppose to taste like but their reply is no, because the cake was left on the shelf for 3 days so exchange a new batch for me which just arrived in the morning. That's all. No apologies. I am quite disappointed with my experience at coffee bean. Lastly, no a weekend afternoon that place was super crowded and hard to find a seat. continue reading

Coffee Bean is one of my favourite hangouts for chillax-ing (chilling and relaxing) besides Starbucks. But Coffee Bean is so much more better cause its tucked in one corner of JP away from the crowd. You won't be that distracted compared to sitting at SB which is like alfresco style.Once my friend and I decided to revise there and we ordered a chamomile tea and chocolate cake. The cake is super chocolate-ly, good for all the chocolate fans out there. The chamomile tea, needless to say is just chamomile from one of the major tea brands.Still i liked the atmosphere and so if i am there i would be sure to order a ice blended coffee and a slice of cake as i laze my day away people-watching. continue reading

Looks like coffee bean had recently changed their business models! They were seen serving pasta and all day breakfast in their outlet. Perhaps its the recent Coffee Trends that triggered the soars in Coffee Business. Everyone is introducing new 'injections' to the cups of beverages. While cafes are sprouting out everywhere thesedays, the coffee scenes are much more interesting with Latte Arts, not just the old boring brew and foam which was used to be. What's more these explosion of Chic Modern Ambiance designed cafes perhaps were seen a threat or rather a challenge to our Pioneers chain of Tea and Coffee cafe.A dollar top up for the meal to upgrade the hot cup of beverage "Kopi O" to Kopi O Peng (Ice). We were given a number tag and had waited for our dinner patiently for about 20 minutes. The cream that Coffee Bean used was lighter in taste with shredded cheese, pieces of ham cooked with Fettuccine. It had nothing in spectacular. It was also quite an unusual sight to have a toast served together with pasta.Cream was light and was rather bland in taste.Ultimate Breakfast was stomach filling, it was rather meaty with bacon, beef patties and sausages accompanied by warldof salad, scrambled egg and toast. There are a number of choices of eateries for customer to choose from if they are going for pasta and similar items. Coffeebean maybe one of the choices, but places like Ambush and Bakerzin's service is definitely preferred.Do visit http://www.umakemehungry.com/2013/11/coffee-bean-all-day-breakfast.html continue reading

i met up with my cousin for lunch! We decided to go for coffee bean, since we were not craving for fast food. It was my first time trying out the food in coffee bean. there were quite a number of dishes to choose but i decided to go for Spicy tuna Linguine but i changed my pasta to fusilli instead. It was spicy, the amount cheese they serve was alot but only the bread was a bit crispy. But overall the food was tasty. I would have spent at least $10 for the pasta. I will go back again to try out the other food they serve. continue reading
