Milk chocolate and earl grey $7.20: The cake was a little hard, perhaps it was put in the freezer for too long? The milk chocolate taste was rather sweet and the earl grey flavour was quite subtle. It was a fitting combination of flavours though. But at this price, I wouldn't get it again. Hazelnut latte $7.20: As seen from the photo, the layers were very distinct and it was essential to stir the drink. at first, i tried it without stirring it and the top layer had a really..weird taste that I had not tasted before. The drink itself was average only though. I have tried several better hazelnut latte out there. One good point is that the drink was served really hot so even after a while, it did not turn cold.  continue reading

There are a lot of people around in IMM by the time we reached there and almost all the restaurants are queuing with customers but when we reached the Coffee Club restaurant, there are not much people inside the restaurant but since we are there, we just proceed into the restaurant and start to look through the menu before ordering our dishes. This dish which is a pasta type and it seems that the fish is not very fresh (Had some fishy smell). The chicken is very small in size which is placed on top of mashed potato. The chicken is spread with a thick layer of their special sauce which looks something like mustard but taste consist of lime and bits of spicy (Should be suitable for kids) but the chicken meat is not as good as it seems that the meat is not tender at all and kind of hard. (I think foodcourt western food taste better than here). The only good thing is there is available seats around for a nice chat (Just purchase their drinks or simple finger food will do) and they do put in their heart to nicely design the dishes before serving it to you. continue reading

had a salad and soup for lunch and it's really tasty. Extra love for the ceaser salad's cheesy crust which doubled up as a bowl for the greens. Smoked salmon is ok and the greens were fresh/crunchy. Whatever space that's left in my tummy was filled to the brim with a bowl of seafood goodness. i could taste the ocean. Anyway point it, Coffee Club's soup is wayyyy better than the lumpy mushroom soup I had at Swensen's the other day. urgh. BTW good news for Citibank card holders! 15% discount! continue reading

The MenuThe cafe was not busy despite being a Saturday thus I can happily spend my time here- having some snacks and reading magazines. The menu wasn’t that extensive and limited starters, mains and desserts.Current promotion: Order any of the promotional sandwich and get a free drink ( choice of berry , apple or banana)Berry-deliciousThis is the name of this drink and indeed was delicious! The smoothie consist of 5 different berries and it serves as a very refreshing drink . On top of that, berries are great antioxidants! Be warned , the smoothie is quite filling and would even fill you up quickly.Half Time ($16.90 ++)”Garlic pesto prawns with cheddar cheese in one half and peri-peri chicken and bacon in the other half on Focaccia bread”Peri-peri chicken with baconThe chicken meat was marinated with peri-peri sauce but it reminds me of the malay rendang gravy . It was rather tasty but the bacon were flimsy and hard.Basil Pesto prawns and cheddar cheeseThe prawns were tasteless and unfresh and the cheese was half-melted. Disappointing enough .Overall, ambience was relaxing , the peri peri chicken was passable and I actually prefer the berry smoothie than the food. continue reading
