The Nasi Lemak rice which costs $0.80, didn't stick together and was fragrant.Chicken wing $1.40: Chicken wing is fried till very crispy, not covered with greasy and the chicken was fresh because you can easily separate the meat from the bone!Ikan Bilis $1.50: Large ikan bilis is another ingredient you must add in a plate of nasi lemak! It was fried with perfection covered with sweet chilli sauce! so yummy!Fish fillet cake $1.20: The last item, ok it was a normal piece of fish cake.It costs$4.90 for the whole dish. continue reading

I normally try to avoid having fried beehoon at night as it can be rather oily. Anyway, as there isn't much choices, I decided to go for this since I know it taste nice from my past experience buying from them. I ordered the beehoon with yellow noodle and topped it up with fish fillet. The fish fillet is really tasty, it is well fried and the fillet is not too dry. The beehoon and noodle is also tasty without being overly greasy or salty. The yellow noodle is more towards sweet hence eating it together with the beehoon is nice since the salty and sweet flavours from the two different noodles are complementary to each other. I also like to add in the chilli to make it even more flavourful. continue reading

I ordered the economic bee hoon for lunch. luckily i went early so there were a lot of variety of vegetables. so i ordered the long beans instead of the usual chinese cabbages. i also ordered the fish fillet. the price was very reasonable and it was yummy. the long bean was not overcooked and very crunchy. it went well with the bee hoon and sambal chilli. i was very satisfied. continue reading

This time i went pretty early, around lunch time so the variety of vegetables were quite a lot. i decided to try their curry vegetables with their fish fillet. to my horror, the curry vegetables were actually pretty spicy. the auntie still help me top my bee hoon with the cury gravy. not wanting to waste the food, i ate it up bit by bit though it was burning in my mouth and stomach. the vegetables were pretty crunchy, not over cooked continue reading
