For more food reviews, please go to http://thehungrybunnie.blogspot.comI sat down to moderate expectations but was very pleasantly surprised by the above-average quality of the food. Every dish was relatively well-executed and yummy. We had:1) Tom Yum Peek Gai ($8.30), chicken wings marinated in spicy tom yum seasoning, was lipsmackingly good. Balanced between the sweet and spicy and sour, this was juicy and thoroughly flavoursome.2) Massaman Chicken Curry ($13.60) was a creamy, rich, thick curry, loaded with bite-sized baby potatoes and 2 big pieces of chicken thigh. This is similar to our Nonya-styled curry, but with an additional nutty accent. Toasted Thai style pancakes which resembled flattened roti prata were on hand to mop up every last drop of that delicious gravy continue reading

I have eaten at Thai Express numerous times but I never knew that the restaurant offered tom yum hor fun. I am introduced to the dish by a twitter friend and decided to give it a try. It was indeed very good. Love the kick from the tom yum and the silky smooth noodle. Beside that, I also ordered my favourite glass noodle beef slices soup. Thumb up for Thai Express, food standard has always been consistent. continue reading

Had my dinner before I turned up so I can only choose light food item which came up to be about the same price of their main course. As I'm an ardent fan of chicken wings, I decided to try their stuffed chicken wings. I was expecting more from this brand but it was just ok. I wouldn't rave about it. The outer skin was good but I believe it was the spices used in the stuffed meat that produces the taste I don't quite like. On the whole, it was acceptable. continue reading

I was shopping with my mum and we came across Thai express. For the past few days of pizza, we decided to change our appetite and have something sour or spicy. I ordered their new set meal. Apparently they launch a new $8.90 set meal. I ordered the grilled chicken one. It came with 3 spring rolls and a small portion of grilled chicken. Along with some green colour dessert. The dessert was a little sticky, not too sweet but had some coconut milk. Not to my liking. The spring roll was deep fried till golden brown. The inside was not too dry. Quite nice! continue reading
