Just went in the morning to buy back home a plain waffle!!! It cost $1.30 and it was sooo delicious. The texture was soft but the borders were crisp...perfection! The minute the batter was poured into the waffle iron, the strong aroma of pandan can soon be smelled...ahhhh The lady fanned the waffle to cool it down after it was ready and handed it to me in a brown paper bag. Took pictures of them immediately I got home...see the texture? Its soo moist and soft right?? hahahaha and the taste was awesome! Not too oily or anything and even eating just a tiny bit can give you the right amount of sweetness. See the moist layer in between??You can literally peel off the outer crisp layer!!

The rich aroma of the waffles can be smelled from distance away. The smell of the butter and pandan is undeniable, tempting even when your stomach is full. I like the waffles with a little charred on the outside, giving it a little crisp as compared to the soft inside. It is a little oily in my opinion, but so are the waffles from other bakeries. Spreading the waffles with peanut butter or chocolate is the best. They melt on the warm waffles, and the flavor is absorbed by the waffle. When you take a bite, the melted peanut butter or chocolate fills your whole mouth, with the waffle giving you something nice to chew on. Such a sinful indulgence! You can't go wrong with this!
