This chicken pie is really different from the others I have tried. The pastry is sweet instead of savory and it is very crumbly. The pastry used in the sweet type so there is a difference between this and the normal puff pastry used. The filling is a mix of potato and chicken cubes and is quite tasty. Though small this was very filling and filled me up considerably!

Crystal jade has lots of really delicious Chinese pastries. The chicken pau they sell is absolutely amazing. The bun is so soft light and fluffy that it almost melts in your mouth. The best chicken pau I have ever eaten! The chicken filling is moist and tasty and absolutely delicious! There is crunch provided from vegetable chunks inside too which contrast with the juicy chicken. Not too expensive too making it accessible to the masses this is a good treat for breakfast or tea.

I am a frequent patron of Crystal Jade as my family loves their po lo buns and the egg tarts. Personally for myself and my daughter, we love the glutinous pancakes. There are many flavours like red bean, pumpkin etc but after trying out all the flavours, we love the green tea with custard and the black sesame glutinous pancakes best. You cannot really taste the green tea flavour in the green tea pancake, but the custard filling is quite tasty and goes really well with the chewy and soft pancake. The black sesame pancake is very fragrant with the black sesame paste. The paste is not too sweet either, which suits my taste very well.

Was feeling hungry for some snacks and this stall was the nearest one to the fountain platform. Most of their breads and pastries were out so I got what I could salvage. The cranberry po lo bao tastes just like an average crystal jade po lo bun but with an addition of cranberries not just at the top of the bun, but within it as well. Almost similar to eating a raisin bun.

With so many stalls at Suntec City, it's still a chore to get food during lunch time with all the queues, even this bakery was rather squeezy.Having chanced upon a donut, the size of it caught my eye. For the price I must say that it speaks well for itself. The cinnamon sugar is the real deal and the dough is fluffy too!
