I got another cake for my birthday and this time from my mum. She had bought this blueberry cake from Prima Deli. I had always prefer cakes from more expensive brands but happy that this simple cake had surpassed my expectations. The sponge cake was buttery, moist soft and fluffy. The blueberry toppings was chewy and bursting with soury flavours. The fresh cream was very light and nice too.

Bought the plain waffles for $1.20. The price is reasonable and affordable, well worth the quality of the waffles! I really love their waffles because they are baked to perfection. It was very fragrant and the edges were crispy too. However, I do notice that the waffles were slightly less thick than the ones I had at Jurong Point but it did not affect me. Definitely one of the best bakeries to get waffles from!

I am a fan for Prima Deli cakes. There is a wide range of cakes for selection. I usually go to their website to select the type of cakes that I want and just call up to make a order. Their website is very informative. It gives you the details of the contents and flavours of the individual cakes. My family loves their chocolate range. So i ordered their chocolate mousee this time round. The cake is very spongy and light. The cream is not too rich. Plus point is it is not too sweet. So you won't get sick of eating it. Try out their cookie and cream, hazelnut delight. The cookies and cream consists of my fav oreo. The cream is nice and oreo rich. There are two sizes. Standard or 1kg. Their price is reasonable.

It is grandma’s birthday and I wanted to get a cake for her. Browsing through the catalogue, I picked a strawberry cake decorated with fresh strawberries on top, as chocolate may be too heaty for her. It looked pretty, with my birthday wishes of longevity for her written in cream. However, the taste was average. Faint hint of strawberry in the cream. It’s now up to other cake flavours to win me over.
