Last weekend being Mother's Day, my family got a mother's day cake from Prima Deli. This is one of the three special Mother's Day cakes that they have introduced. We got the Mixed Fruit cake. It is a very large cake at 1kg and it costs $39.80. The intersection of the cake is layers of cream mixed with fruit cocktails and vanilla sponge cake. While the taste is alright, I found the taste slightly monotonous after a while because there are too many layers and there is no difference in taste between each layer. I would think a small sized cake (i.e. less layers) will be better. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the quality as I had expected more from Prima Deli.
