Crystal Jade My Bread was located in the basement of Clementi Mall, a few steps away from its competitor of the same trade. They are famous for its Char Siew Polo Buns and I cant find any reason not to purchase. Like most of the polo buns in the market, its outler layer was caramelized coated and Crystal Jade's comes with black sesame on top of th bun.. The layer was flaky and any bite would have crumbles dropping down. Quite tasty for its char siew (BBQ Pork) fillings but I would prefer more amounts of it.On the left, its the taro bun. The outer smells of milky fragrance. As for its Taro (Yam) Fillings, I finds it quite "jerlat" after having some. It was quite dry and almost tasteless.

I love all kinds of non baked mooncake. I was quite curious when I saw the poster of the crystal jade yogurt pudding mooncake. For four pieces, it only cost $22 but with credit card, you can enjoy further discount. Too bad the clementi branch only had three of the flavours, the guy told me he would help me replace the missing mixed berries flavor with another mango flavor and I took up the offer. The entire mooncake was actually pudding, there was no snowskin. There were fairly large pieces of mango in the pudding mooncake. I would recommend this cos it is not too sweet and would make excellent dessert. The original flavor with nata de coco was really refreshing and the apple flavor was really unique. I would recommend this mooncake if you want something different from the traditional kinds.
