For detailed review: http://phuachiuyen.wordpress.com/2012/09/02/huat-kee-kuay-chap-blk-123-yishun-street-11/I’ve been hearing that Huat Kee Kuay Chap is very popular in Yishun and usually comes with a long wait.True enough, I waited around 20 to 30 minutes. My verdict: Nice mix of pig ingredients, salty enough. Very unhealthy food tho T_TThe kuay was plain enough and very soft and slippery too. It’s not the best Kuay Chap I tasted but it’s worth a try if you only happen to be nearby and willing to wait for the food. continue reading

Kway chap is one the favourite food for me and my whole family. This stall located at Yishun is one of the must try in my personal opinion =)To make a good kway chap is not easy. This stall serves really good kway chap with no weird smell. They must have done a good job with the cleaning part for the innards. Together with the chili, it really complete the whole meal and it was a very enjoyable one! continue reading

The FoodI ordered the big intestines, eggs, fish cake,Tau Pok and braised pork belly. The kway teow soup is very savoury, tasty, topped with bits of fried lard, fried shallots and celery and is served very hot. The big intestines are soft, tender, slight chewiness that just enhance the taste.Braised pork belly has melt kind of feel with a good bite to it. The fish cake, stomach, eggs, tau pok are tasty and absorbed with the rich & strong flavour of the gravy. The PriceReasonably priced at $3.50 onwards OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading
