1) Crispy duck wrapped with crepe skin $10: There was no taste of duck at all but the batter was crispy. It tasted more like paste rather than meat. 1) Crispy duck wrapped with crepe skin $10: There was no taste of duck at all but the batter was crispy. It tasted more like paste rather than meat. The crepe skin was a unique feature to a zi char dish though.
2) Tofu with minced meat $10: this was highly recommended by the waitress because she said they made the tofu by themselves. They were rather generous with the minced meat and it was quite a big portion but I did not find the taste special.
3) Fish maw soup with crabmeat $15: The fish maw soup was more on the watery side and tasted between a good version of fish maw soup and the pasam malam version. There were lots of mini diced tofus in it and rather little portion of small pieces of fish maw in it. It remained hot throughout so the taste did not depreciate (since it did not turn cold fast). It was a little salty though. 2 plates of plain rice cost $1.60.
