I was recommended by a friend to try the Nasi Lemak at Qi Ji but when I got there, the news articles they had at their display caught my eyes. Their popiah has received many positive reviews and media coverage by major Singapore newspaper publications. Although I'm not a big fan of popiah (because of the vegetables), I decided to give it a try.Each roll of popiah (6 slices) cost $2.00. The skin is very thin and smooth and they were very generous with the fillings of the popiah. The fillings include bangkuang (jicama), egg, garlic, some sort of sauce and more. I was not able to figure out all of the fillings as the garlic taste was too overwhelming. However, it went well with the rest of the popiah so it was delicious.
I'd totally recommend popiah lovers to try Qiji's popiah.
