I always enjoy dining or shopping at Changi Airport partly because of its pleasant & relaxing environment minus the madding crowds at the malls, and partly because the service staff here make a sincere effort to be polite and helpful. So it was at this Starbucks outlet where I was cautioned that I have to finish my drink prior to boarding so do I still want a Venti size, and suggesting that it is better to pick whole milk for frappucino as skinny options when blended with ice cubes make a rather runny drink.The airport outlets do not accept the Starbucks prepaid stored value card (different ownership & Management) and though my purchase amount was paltry for only one drink they gladly let me use my credit card so I wont end up with small change and heavy coins.

For the first time, I was actually displeased with the service at starbucks. Especially, when its the Changi airport outlet which is filled with tourists everyday! My boyfriend ordered me the Java Chips Frappe after dinner but to my astonishment there was no java chips in the beverage. I'm guessing they forgot to put the chips which made the beverage extremely horrid. It also tasted sweeter then usual. I'm pretty skeptical about that drink these days and it actually used to be one of my favorites at starbucks! I hope less such incidents would occur especially when customers pay such a hefty price for their coffee as well as service.

Had the Christmas peppermint mocha. It's very sweet. Wonder if the sugar leve can be adjusted like at the bubble tea places?Nice flavour and very rich. Lots of cream. Nice peppermint taste balanced with the mocha. Chocolatey! Very expensive drink, but nice novelty idea. Makes you really thirsty after you have it since it is so sweet and creamy. Took a long time to finish as it was thick and very creamy. You'll feel sick if you drink it too fast!Service is bland. Nice place to chill out otherwise. No one bothers you. Wish they served their hot drinks in mugs and not paper cups!
